NEXT TO NORMAL IMMERSIVE
______For this project, we took charge of designing and producing all the visuals, developing innovative techniques and exploring new creative approaches to deliver a fully immersive experience. From the initial concept to the final execution, we meticulously crafted each projection to seamlessly integrate with the narrative and live performances, enhancing the emotional impact of the show.
"Next to Normal," the musical that revolutionized theater a decade ago, premieres in summer 2022 in Barcelona with a 100% immersive format. This new version, co-produced by Del Campo Global, Layers of Reality, and the Barcelona Grec Festival, combines live performances with immersive projections. Its creators, Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt, have adapted the work into a 60-minute version specifically designed for a 20,000-square-foot venue, where actors and audience share the same space.
