dotore
Dotore is the solo musical project of Pablo Martinez Sanromá, an artist whose life journey spans continents, having lived in the USA, China, France, Germany, and several African countries before settling in Barcelona. His music, often described as impressionistic, cinematic, and dreamy, reflects a rich tapestry of influences ranging from pop icons like Brian Wilson to minimalist and ambient pioneers such as Steve Reich, Arvo Pärt, and Brian Eno.
Dotore’s work has garnered critical acclaim:
Rock Delux: "A contemporary classic, a masterpiece."
Mondo Sonoro: "An unprecedented delight in our scene. A unique album, definitely."
We had the privilege of collaborating with Dotore to present the live performance of his album Las Hora Claras at the Argiartean Light Festival. For this performance, we crafted visuals that seamlessly complemented Dotore’s evocative soundscapes, enhancing the impressionistic and cinematic qualities of his music.
This collaboration allowed us to explore the intersection of music and light, transforming Las Hora Claras into an mapping live experience that resonated deeply with the audience, further amplifying the beauty and emotion of Dotore’s compositions.
