The Rhythm of the Ocean___ FULLDOME VERSION

_________ We premiered the full dome version of "The Rhythm of the Ocean" on November 8th at the Blend Festival and Mira in Barcelona, and the audience's reaction was nothing short of amazing. After collaborating with Suzanne Ciani on the release of her album ‘A Sonic Womb’ [Lapsus Records, 2020], we were thrilled to take this partnership to new heights. With Ciani’s incredible sound design and our visual expertise, we created a truly immersive experience that seamlessly blends sound and visuals.

In May 2022, we worked side by side with Suzanne on an exclusive show for the Barcelona Planetarium. That collaboration became the starting point for this project, shaping "The Rhythm of the Ocean" into a unique audiovisual universe. Combining the organic and intricate soundscapes from Suzanne's Buchla 200e synthesizer with our real-time visuals, we crafted an experience that explores the ocean’s immense beauty and profound impact.

The ocean is the heart of this project. Its vastness, its depths, and its incredible biodiversity inspired us to create visuals that reflect its beauty and importance. But we also wanted to highlight the challenges it faces—pollution, climate change, and overfishing threaten this essential resource that sustains all life on Earth. Through our work, we aim to bring attention to how ocean currents and temperature play a vital role in regulating the Earth's climate, affecting everything from marine ecosystems to weather patterns.

This Full Dome version allows us to fully immerse the audience, surrounding them with visuals that flow effortlessly across the dome and resonate with Suzanne’s evocative soundscapes. It’s an experience designed to connect people to the rhythms of the ocean, leaving them inspired to reflect on its beauty and fragility.
